This week in English middle school have focused on our SPaG (Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar) and have been looking at different word classes. To help us use our different word classes in sentences, we went outside on a word hunt. 
Children searched the playground for any nouns they could find - and there were lots of them!
We then thought of adjectives we could use to describe those nouns.
If we managed to do both of these things, children could write their own sentences using their new noun phrases.
