Middle school loves nothing more than a good, messy art lesson!
As part of our Romans topic for the half term, we took a look at some of the art they created. This week, we have focused on Frescos, a kind of mural that Romans used to decorate the walls of their villas.
Unfortunately, we didn't have an unpainted villa to hand, so we made do with some paper.
We noticed that many frescos were inspired by either scenes from gardens, scenes of the family or scenes from mythology.
Children attempted to recreate one of these ideas on their paper.
