We had some fun with sticks in Lower School today!
At the weekend a large tree fell over in the wind at my home so I brought some of the branches into school for the children to investigate and play with. We read one of our favourite stories "Stickman" by Julia Donaldson and then the children made their own Stick characters. Have a look at these photos to see the key workers' children making and playing with their stick people ...

Hi Abbi,
I'm glad you like the Stickmen! You can make one at home too, here's how ...
1. Go and find a couple of sticks (they don't have to look exactly like Stickman).
2. Break bits so that they can be tied on to be his arms.
3.Use some string, ribbon or wool to tie the arms onto the body.
4. Use a felt tip and either draw some eyes and a mouth straight onto the stick or onto paper and glue that on.
I really miss you too Abbi, I CAN'T WAIT until next Monday when we will all be back in class together! Only 6 more sleeps now!
