David and Goliath

In today’s RE lesson we focused on the Bible story David and Goliath.

After hearing the story read from the bible, we worked in groups to retell the tale, wearing masks to really get into character!

We sequenced the main events in our RE books and even had a go at recounting the story in our own words.

We had lots of fun and learnt that we can always put our confidence in God. We may never face a giant such as Goliath, but if we face any other obstacles in daily life - the Lord is by our side.
