Taking advantage of the sunny weather we had a maths lesson outdoors this morning. Reception children were busy counting objects that couldn’t be moved whilst Year 1 children were busy jumping up and down number lines finding one more and one less. Year 2 children were counting in tens. We had fun and the children explored their own ideas of number drawing their own number lines, identifying odd and even numbers as well as counting in 2s and 5s.
