Year 2 have had great fun learning the spelling rule for the ‘s spelt with a c’ this week. They have done a variety of activities but their favourite was the ice race that Miss Haynes thought of for them! Linked to our penguins theme the children used penguin puppets to slide along the ice picking up words as they raced. The children read the words their penguins had collected and sorted them into words with a soft c and words without. 

Well done everyone, it is great to watch you have so much fun as you learn!
