A huge thank you to DR Tree Surgeons, Denis Rowlandson, our local tree surgeon, who has generously donated a load of fresh wood chip for our Lower School garden today.
Thank you also to my son, Jasper, who was a real super star working hard in the rain (it wasn't raining when we left home) with me. We recycled the old tricky trail posts and carried all our new woodchip to create a bark pit for outdoor learning for our EYFS children. We went home very wet, muddy, happy and excited to find out what the children think when they see their new improved outdoor learning space on Monday morning.
A busy Saturday

Mrs Kemp you have worked so hard, thank you very much indeed. Jasper you are a star! Also BIG thanks to Denis none of this would have happened without your kindness.
I'd like also to pass on the thanks of all the governors for all you've done Penny, they greatly appreciated you taking time out to share your learning areas with them yesterday evening.
