Lots of fun learning has been happening in Lower School this last few weeks inspired by the weather and our environment we started looking at the changes Autumn brings. We have been reading lots of Percy the Parkkeeper stories and have created a fantastic Percy's Park, shed and inside his house role play area in our EYFS room.

Our Reception children started asking lots of questions about hedghogs so Year 1 and 2 are busy fact finding.  They are going to write a non-fiction report about hedgehogs for them. To help them gather information we are very excited for Thursday to arrive as we are having a visit from Liz from Woodlands Animal Sanctuary (click here to visit their website) and a real, live, rescued hedghog.  We hope to learn lots of new facts and have all our questions answered to help with our writing.
