We're having fun, c'est tres bon!

So far we have learnt where France is in the world and learnt a little about the country. We have been learning to count in French, greet one another in French and sing songs in French. Today we learnt about the French artist Georges Suerat's short life and the style of painting he created called pointillism. We had a go at painting robots in a pointillistic style using cotton buds to apply the paint in small dots. The children enjoyed the painting so much that after their robot they carried on and painted other objects in a pointillist style and some painted the Eiffel Tower.
