Our Reading lead Mrs Kemp held a meeting for our reading volunteers where she updated their training through talking them through our new Guide for Reading Volunteers and explaining how their precise target questionning contributes to helping each child progress in their independent reading skills. Mrs Kemp expressed our extreme thanks for the time that our volunteers give up to come to our school and join our team in promoting reading. We are determined here at Inskip that all of our children will learn to read well and by volunteering they are providing extra opportunities for our children to practice their decoding, inference and comprehension skills during reading of their banded independent book.
