Mrs Kemp held a workshop for our Reception parents. During the workshop she explained how we teach reading in our school including phonics phases and activities and what we'd like parents to do at home in order to support their child's reading development and foster a love for books. She provided tips and helpful ideas about how parents can make learning to read fun and she also answered  all their questions. The parents left with a personalised goody bag full books!
