It was harvest festival time yesterday at St. Peter's Church! It was an especially lovely service because it was the first time we've been invited to attend as a school since the pandemic began. We collected foodstuffs to be donated to The Salvation Army foodbank throughout last week from families unable to attend and other pupils took gifts on the day. Our photos show how beautifully the church was decorated by the flower arrangers and Revd Paul and Miss Leyland would like to thank everyone for the harvest gifts which will go to needy families. It was a lovely service with Thomas volunteering to help out during  Rev Paul's talk about Godliness and contentment, thank you Thomas. The whole service was a wonderful celebration of and thankyou to God for the harvest and all His creation provides us with. We rounded off the service with drinks, cakes and sweets. Thank you so much to all who made our first school Sunday service in such a long time so memorable and Worshipful.
