We had a real treat today as Mrs Parkinson, who used to teach at our school, came back to visit and take worship. She reminded us that when God made the world he didn't make us all the same, he couldn't just pick one child and say that they are the best child because every child is brilliant in their own, unique way. Christians believe God made us just the way we are and that we are all special and wonderful.

Mrs Parkinson helped us understand by giving us different flowers to study and talk about, we noticed that they are all different yet all beautiful for different reasons just like us. Right now we are starting to notice Spring shoots peeping through the soil and new plants and flowers growing. God reminds us that just like new flowers growing from bulbs even if we make mistakes or things go wrong we can start again like the new shoots and have a new start.

Today we learnt that we don’t have to try and be like someone else because God made us just the way we are and we are all special.

Thank you Mrs Parkinson for coming to visit us.
