What an amazing team effort from our Years 2, 3 and 4 football team!  The team never gave up and scored some fantastic goals.  It was a very close matched game and the Treales team had an older team overall, so we should be extremely proud of ourselves.

At half time the match was a tie at 3-3.  Kingsley proved very difficult to mark and used his pace, taking on players with confidence and scoring some brilliant goals, 4 in total!  Alex with the support from Daniel and Kingsley passed the ball in the attacking half and scored 2 great goals.

Daniel proved extremely tricky and strong, taking on 2 or 3 players and scored the fifth goal to make it 6-6 with only 5 minutes left.  He hit the ball with some force and the keeper could not save it.  With literally minutes to spare Alex scored the final goal to make Inskip St Peter's the proud winners again, winning 7-6.

In defence, Sean and Benjamin played fantastically well and defended brilliantly.  Harvey made some very important saves, especially when the game was 6-6.  James and Finlay played in lots of different positions and helped set up some of the goals by tackling and passing the ball.  Well done boys, a great team effort!
