Today is Mars Day! We (and the rest of the nation) are celebrating all things space! The class have spent the morning learning about space and space missions. We watched a live lesson about the Artemis Mission to the Moon and then we watched a live interview with Sir Tim Peake. The children have watched a brilliant video to learn about the solar system and have had fun making scrap paper rocket designs. The children were set a challenge to research a planet of their choosing and to create a poster about that planet. These will be displayed in the classroom when they are completed. I now have 21 budding scientists, engineers, pilots and astronauts in my class!
