Today Upper School investigated where in the Bible you can find the story of the birth of Jesus. They looked at all four Gospels and discovered it’s only written about in the Gospel of Matthew and Luke! Next we read the different versions and made notes about each story. One half of the class read Matthew and the other half explored Luke’s version. It was fascinating finding out what was included or missed out. The children were able to discuss the similarities and differences so maturely and also talked about why they might be so different to one another. Evie had some brilliant ideas and told us she thought it might be because each writer thought that different events were more important to them so they focused on those things. Well done Evie!
