This morning, Upper School were provided with a challenge to find the longest possible sequence of factors and multiples until they could find no more. First of all, they asked many mathematical questions to clarify the rules and to gather the right information. They chose various ways of keeping track of their sequences and enjoyed building strategies to block their opponent: having no more factors or multiples remaining of the last number chosen. There was lots of maths talk and children comparing the quickest/longest route.
